ARE THE VOICE ACTORS AI?

Hello I am wondering if wether or not the voice acting in this game is AI or not i heard it was and im dissapointed because i like the gameplay but i cant support a company lazy enough to not hire humans and create jobs rather to be replaced by a computer software its ridiculous

They use a mix of the two. The voice lines you hear in the start of the game are in fact hired and payed voice actors. From what I understand, their reactions to in game actions (like a team being wiped out and such) are still the same voice actors; However, their voices are used by an AI to generate more voice lines. Although its not clear if the AI voice work that is done affects the commentators you hear all the time, or if it only affects (and to that extent, includes) the characters you are playing as.

TLDR; Voice actors are used for every voice line. AI is used after the fact to add more voice lines if needed. They still pay their voice actors. Though I did not know about this topic until I saw your question. Its very interesting to look into, I recommend you do the same.

I honestly would like to see more lines from the commentators that actually describe the game more. Would be cool if they actually said our handles. As well as our team names and etc.

There are uses of AI. The voice actors consent to the use of their voices for the AI in the game. The issue is when they take without permission the voices of other people and use them for their own benefit,thats why there's a huge legal and copyright troubles with generated ai images
