TBh, I say just throw away the "option" and just ditch it entirely and just have a punishment system for people who leave mid match, with it giving worse and worse penalties the more you do it, sort of like the R6 siege reputation system.
Even if it means matches won't get backfilled, I think its better to have a deterrent in place to stop people from leaving in the first place, rather than trying to remedy it with backfilling.
"That's dumb. I shouldn't have to do it. You're a dumb kid. You're dumb (again)." That's what you said, rofl.
Grow up.
Incentivise stayers, penalise leavers, give backfillers an XP boost and a guarantee of a clean start. Whatever. But it is losing its appeal fast not being able to actually play a round from the beginning.
yeah, it's a bit annoying to join a game that's halfway over - but i've been able to help them win a few times and it's nice.
If your going to advocate that you be able to toggle your ability to backfill other teams, then the same option should toggle your teams ability to be back filled (and as a result you should only be able to be queued together with other players that pick this option, as well as not being able to change that option if your not in a lobby)
The option can be there, but make it like how Exoprimal handles filling games. There's a minor multiplier if you play with potential backfill and you get it at the end of the game. This can actually be applied to full game exp as well so you may end up with more exp and credits at the end than 1x if you queue'd normally.
That's if you play either PvE or PvP for the last phase, not a backfill option.
It isn't the same premise at all, but thanks for playing.
