how to turn off Resolution Scaling?
I only see options for:
TAAU
AMD
Nvidia
Intel

where is just off? i just want to play at native 1080p with no anti aliasing, all of these options look like garbage

nope, your only native option is DLAA if you have an RTX card.
Same for AMD cards, just with FSR... :/
is there no config file to change it?

FSR is an upscaler and doesn't have a DLAA equivalent, so literally DLAA is the only native res option.
You can turn it off by selecting TAAU and then selecting 100%, anything less than 100% downscales and anything above 100% upscales. Usually games have an 'off' option for resolution scaling but if you set the 'scaling' to 100% in games; then its exactly the same as having resolution scaling turned off.
They just simply dont have an option to turn off resolution scaling because theres no point in having an off option.
Im really surprised that not a single one of the people who replied to you said this, like what the heck?

The majority of the people are dumdum. They spend their lives complaining and asking questions that have been answered thousands of times ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

TAAU is still Temporal Anti Aliasing, still contains all the visual artefacts that comes with AA, blur, ghosting, soft looking, ect.

people haven't replied with this because my post says "with no anti aliasing" TAAU is still AA and doesn't solve the problem.

thanks for trying to help though.
Setting it to 100% should make it do nothing, right?

i believe it works the same way like in R6 siege, You can turn off AA completely or have TAA and set it to 100, it runs at native resolution but will still apply some AA to stop jagged edges

Because it doesn't really remove upscaling as a tech. Yes you render at 100%, but you still get problems of upscaling, ie ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blurry image.
People ask how to disable that completely.

The Anti Aliasing is so vomit inducing when you see ghosting everywhere. It's really bad on Gears of War 4 for Xbox One. I'd honestly rather play with FXAA or no Anti Aliasing. It's really bad in Dark Maps. It looks like a smear with dithering and gives everything this slimey motion blur look. Halo Reach had TAA and it looked awful, but Halo 4 removed it in favour of FXAA for Xbox 360 and it was way better for it. I rather play with Jagged Pixels than see smears all over my screen thinking it's some invisible light player. Unreal Engine 5 let's you turn it off and so does Unreal Engine 4. The developers of The Finals just didn't give us that option for some reason. Like we still can't have background audio play when tabbed out of the game. This messes with recordings so much where you won't have audio when recording for videos. Also no FPS limiter or unlimiter option? Why not? I had to go into Nvidia control Panel to make the game play at 30fps (UE5 and UE4 games look alright at 30fps compared to other game engines so I like it). It's really rancid because the game is already quite demanding so making the game play with a really high framerate can overwork your GPU and make your parts get hotter faster. UE5 and UE4 has the options to change it. The developers yet again didn't give us that option.

gaming is all about latency when it comes to multiplayer and upscalers and AA and AI all add latency, The great thing about getting a 4090 and so much fps isnt the high fps or nice graphics but low latency giving the biggest effect
Game setting is garbage, TAAU looks freaking disgusting, this is not a "turn off" :steamfacepalm:

Game settings still suck. Also lookin for native 4k no AA. 100% TAA takes performance and makes the game less clear. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
anti-aliasing adding latency is literally a non-issue, it's imperceptible. if you have an Nvidia card, setting DLSS to DLAA is the best looking option. No blur, everything looks crisp. and before anyone says "it has ghosting", it does not. The game has ghosting on moving objects in the distance with any setting, if anything its an LOD issue.
