Massive fps drops/freezes
Game was running fine in beta, all other games still run fine. Usually got around 140ish fps, but quite regularely, i get a match where i get constant freezes/fps drops. Feels like being frozen for a moment. Happens in both, fullscreen and windowed fullscreen. Any insights?

check cpu usage if it's near 100% that's the cause.

It happens to me when players leave or enter an existing match.

The cause is you having an improper cooling system. You should be happy games are finally utilizing the full potential of your CPU, instead of some artificial number of cores

Monaco map makes fps drops to me. Other maps run smoothly.

i love how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ keep saying its related to cpu cooling when its clearly the game.
Monaco map is broken asf i have 150 fps + and the mouse stuttering lag is absolutely insane.
broken sh1t game would rather play warzone at this point, unstable until it freeze's and have to reboot the system
game is unbalanced, unstable and broken hope it dies soon was so hype but now its all the same

Nope, 100% gpu usage is fine but 100% cpu usage is not. It just reflects poor game optimisation. A CPU is the core of the entire system, it is running all the hardwares and softwares, all peripherals devices, windows and several trillion processes and services that keeps a system running. So a game should never take 100% cpu at the first place. Each and every devs are aware of it. Because it will prevent the CPU from allocating time to other vital processes. This will prevent these core services from running properly resulting in system malfunction. Lazy optimisation is not tolerated when it comes to the cpu side as long as you meet the hardware requirements.

Yeah mine is using like 95% of CPU. Do you think they will release a patch for it soon then?

I mean not really. My CPU is also constantly being capped at 100% and my system runs just fine. I often have ♥♥♥♥ on my 2nd monitor, so if there was anything to notice, I would.

Every modern OS has measures against the things you mentioned. The only time your system will completely freeze up which is CPU related is when you run out of ram and either have a slow storage device or have no storage at all.

Monaco map is a stutter fest even on potato graphics......

This is wrong, although this myth persists since ages. I have been optimizing for max fps since the 90s and always made sure that the cpu is the bottleneck and not the gpu. Minimize grafic options, see how far your cpu can take you and then turn on grafic options without lowering your fps. That has always been the way to go in competitive shooters. Although, this does require a decent and smoothly working pc. If you want to avoid troubleshooting, you can obviously also make sure your gpu is the bottleneck and sacrifice fps for it. Today with all the cores, it is a non issue though and thanks to insanely powerful gpus and upscaling tech, not much to worry about in a high end pc.

I can confirm, the problem seems to be Monaco. Guess i'll just skip it till it gets fixed.

this happened to me a couple days ago as well. used to get steady 100 fps on medium settings, struggle to get a jittery 50 n the lowest now
