Does this game still use AI voice actors?
My friend told me that the game has ditched its AI voices and hired real voice actors. Is this true? I'm not finding anything online documenting this. Does it actually have real voice actors now or are they still using AI voices?

I had no idea any of this was going on. Also, the answer is they did not remove it and they plan to continue using AI voice lines for the foreseeable future so they can "focus on the quality of the game". Here is the source published 2 days ago.

I am glad you posted about this and im glad I didnt spend any money. Me and a friend of mine were already a little annoyed because aiming in this game felt... wrong. We would have likely just tried again tomorrow but with this, im uninstalling. She will likely uninstall as well when she see's what I sent her in the morning.

To those who don't, I hope you enjoy the game and I do not have any ill will towards you.

100% using AI voice lines. They're kind of "semi perfect"; somewhat flawed intonation and inflection.

They are using them for the announcers predominantly. It's honestly disappointing to see AI actually make its way into the creative process.

What the hell, my friend told me they ditched the AI voicelines and hired real voice actors for the 1.0 release? Are you sure it's still AI voices? Either they're wrong or they lied to me about it -_-

if it was a AAA studio with AAA funding then yes they would deserve to get criticism for using AI tools but in this case it's 100% justified and a good use of it. so stop crying about a non-issue and just enjoy the game.

They had an entire spot at the Game Awards, gtfo with this "they don't have enough money for VAs!!" BS. They have more than enough money for voice actors.

Cars are made by humans. Phones are made by humans. Movies are made by humans.

AI voice acting is not done by humans.

are you brain dead or brain dead? having a spot at TGA has nothing to do with their funding.

Anyways its probably human voice, if it was AI it would have been better.
