Why am I always on the blue team?

It looks like whatever team you're on is the blue team? it wasn't like this in the beta, you could be other colors. Is there a way to change this?

Maybe it's blue to you and to others it's another color. In the end, it doesn't matter because it keeps things consistent for you and the commentary goes by team names and not colors.

If there is any complaints about the colors it should be that pink and purple look too similar on character outlines, which makes it hard to count who is left on team when you are fighting.

Yeah every player is on the blue team from their perspective, I hate it, I'm not 8 years old I dont need consistency in this aspect.

I want to be on the purple team or whatever, I dont want to start every game with a blue loadout background, I dont want blue = good and other colors = enemy

theres an options in the options called "use enemy team colors" thats off by default and makes every enemy red, thats so dumb theres no way to know which team the an enemy is from with it off

Yeah this is my biggest problem with the game right now. I hate playing on the blue team and would never pick it given a choice. Since this clearly displays differently for each client you should be able to pick whatever colour you like for the team you're on.
