Mic stops working in Discord/Windows

Im in DIscord chat with a friend, when I start the game and enter a lobby with him, my Microphone Input on Windows stops working so Discord too.. Is there a fix for this issue?

I have the same issue. The game completely breaks my audio for everything and messes with my mic in discord. I think it only happens when I'm in discord with friends tho. Not sure. Please let me know if anyone finds a fix. It makes the game unplayable with others for me.

Yup I hope somebody comes up with a fix. The problems dont arise untill Im actually in a match. Then Windows just doesnt detect my Mic input anymore.

If I quit the game and replug the mic it works again.

Zero issues in any other game or applications. No problem in the lobby either

It's your cpu, no cap. Have the same issue with a i3, upgraded to i5 and solve the problem (I was having the same issue with r6s).

the game loads pretty slow so it's not really comfortable to reenter the game every time i wanna play with friends on discord

Yep. Not only for mic but the whole PC audio. Heard that the fix is to switch from your additional sound card (if you have one) to motherboard card (like realtek) but im not going to do that. I have 2700x cpu which should be enough to carry this game and have a fkn audio lol like that never happened to me in any other game so thats ♥♥♥♥ game optimization

I have a Trust USB Microphone (yeah Trust I know I know.. But its a big boi like 120 euro, it has its own stand and everything)

Its a earlier version of the GXT 252 Emita

Not really sure that it's the CPU, mine is pretty decent. And even more so, there isn't much being put on it, you know, with my RTX 4070 taking the toll of everything graphical wise. I can play any other game, max graphics, apps in the background, stream, and still not have problems. This just seems like a bug in the game. I use a headset, and thankfully can fix my problem just by flipping the mic up then back down. But I still talk at least 5 minutes before I realize nothing was coming through. Hopefully there is a fix here, it is pretty rough playing with friends.
