Game causes entire PC to restart when trying to launch

Edit: I was able to get the game to load by changing my Window's power settings to energy saver mode. I haven't tried playing the game yet though as I've already lost interest.

Don't have this issue with other games, including much more demanding, better looking, and more technologically advanced games.

It looks like as soon as the Easy AntiCheat is finished loading and the game is about to run, it goes straight to a black screen and my computer instantly restarts.

Luckily this game is mid so I'm not missing out on much. Big oof!

Hey guys, I had the same issue with my whole PC restarting either on launch or in mid game.

After applying tens of fixes the only thing that resolved the problem was the BIOS update.

I knew it was not my PSU, since I have a lot of room in terms of wattage there.

So give it a shot if you are experiencing random PC restarts, try updating BIOS. Good luck!

I have the same issue with every unreal-engine based games. As soon I try to start it, my PC shuts off like I pulled the plug. Temps are fine and I also changed the Powersupply in the past but nothing helped. I did not found the exact cause of the issue and why are only Unreal-Engine based games, but I have a Bandaid-Fix. You need a friend or trusted person who can share you the game.ini files, better the whole appdata-folder. Exchange those and it should work. It took me a really long time to find this and hope I could help someone with the same issues.

This game (The FInals) has alot of problems, first i had no sound, then after few big updates tried to play the game and computer suddenly crashes/restarts. It needs to be fixed. I have no problems with other games.

I am having the same problem since I updated the video card drivers (rtx3080).
If I reinstall the old drivers (546.33 in my case) The Finals runs without any problems, with the most updated ones (552.22) on the other hand it restarts the computer when launching the game. I experienced this problem exclusively with The Finals, all my other games run without any problem with any version of the drivers.
I don't know what to do anymore: I've already reset the bios, removed the overclock on the cpu (7600x), changed the ram profiles, updated the bios, even changed the power supply, done and re-done installations with DDU, tried other older versions of the drivers but all this hasn't solved the problem that persists.

hmm been looking for posts like this, missing angel callstack is the error i get. Can generally play one or 2 games but somehow it'll crash. Only recently started doing it so have no idea

verify files. then start again.. see what happens now it start the anti-cheat first , good.... i am in the game now. just verify game files then try again. helpt for me...
