CPU 100% and not starting

Downloaded the game and it just stays stuck on a black screen, I haven't seen a lick of the game. Anyone know why this is?

Same, RTX 3080/9700k, hangs on black screen indefinitely.

Just wait 3-4 minutes and it will start. Most likely they will fix it with a first hotfix.

get a better CPU or apply an adequate amount of thermal paste if you havent already

Exact same issue, playtest was fine though but now im having this issue

It did that the first time for me launching the game, pretty sure its just compiling shaders.
Afterwards it has been launching like normal.

Maybe try verifying the game files, also be sure you have the required versions of Redistributable Runtimes installed.

You can get them directly from Microsoft and or TechPowerUp which they made a all-in-one installer/collection of it.
