Same for me man, we'd have to find more people with the issue to be sure, but it could also just be incompatibility with sound blaster cards? not sure.
I only see people having cracks / entire disconnections
1. Try adding "-d3d11" to the game launch properties in steam.
2. Try disabling VOIP chat by pressing K
3. Make sure your mic is plugged into a USB 3 outlet or greater and NOT a 2.0.
In the end, it was the USB 3 that did the trick. Kind of an odd issue to have.
I don't actually have a USB mic, I think ultimately what the issue is is having multi channel audio. If i use my Realtek drivers (2 Channel) it's fine but if i use multi channel (surround sound) on my sound card it breaks every time.
Not the only one. I just tried to play the game for the first time and got the same thing. Full volume static. Thought it was a fluke the first time, second time it happened I just uninstalled the game. Not even going to try to fix it, not worth the hearing damage.
Created an own Thread, have exactly the same Problem.

I have a sound blaster card (SoundBlasterX AE-5) too and have the same problem. I used to temporarily fix this problem by swapping recording input, but toggling audio enhancements looks simpler.
In the main menu, the audio cuts out intermittently.
When I load into practice, my audio cuts on entirely, not just in the finals.
I have to quit out and restart my interface to get audio back.
It's possible this isn't a finals specific issue, as I have other issues with this audio interface outside of the finals, but never like this. Every other game I've played doesn't have this issue.
It's worth noting that the game prompted me to update my graphics drivers(1070 TI), and I did, but I'm not sure how that would affect audio.
