Pleated skirt? (Style problem)

Hey, it's in the game, alright? It's breaking my mind, though, because no top in the game seems to go with it.

The hem of pretty much every shirt in the game is pushed outward slightly since they assume you're wearing something thicker, but the skirt flushes closer to the waist, creating a noticeable gap no matter what I put on. Only exception seems to be the Trendy Turtleneck, which doesn't match.

There's also a style problem, since the pleated skirt uses a slightly lighter tone of gray than everything else currently in the game except the Asymmetrical Top, which is, uhh... a little odd.

Longer tops, like the All-Weather Jacket, go down far enough to stop defying gravity, but create a similar look as a girl wearing only a top and no pants.

Has anyone else attempted to wear this thing unironically?

Can it pair with the suit jacket? I haven't unlocked it yet, it's like the only skirt in the game and you get it at rank 29 lol.

Yeah, I hit 29 recently and beelined it since it's one of very few feminine Lower Body options. Imagine my surprise that there seems to be no top that was meant to pair with it.

By the suit jacket, do you mean the Business Blazer? The color almost matches, but it gives off kind of a weird school uniform vibe.

I really wish there was an easy way to share screenshots over Steam Discussions without having to save them to a gallery on my account...

Yeah that one, I have a kind of special agent look going on right now with the business suit and some accessories, but was looking forward to a change when I reach that level.

I just took a preview and it does look a bit kind of school prefect which isn't a look I want, until I own the skirt though I can't preview that with other items I don't own. Skirts are harder to rig to characters but I thought we'd have more options than this haha, ah well. The devs seem to be more focused on full outfits rather than compatibility between sets, I can understand why but... it's a criticism.

Edit: Another side note they have to make every item also work for 3 different sized characters so the artists are likely in perpetual agony already haha.

I paired it with the Alien puffer and also the plain black sweater . Plus with the full body tattoos.
