From what I've heard from their discord, which is where the devs are active cause steam forums are a pile of dung and just garbage in general.
They are aware of ReWasd at the moment and are thinking of what to do with it..
It remains to be seen however wtf they will do if anything about it.

The devs are AFK on their website and they are not even members of their official discord so why are you lying? The only people that are around are community managers and people that handle advetisements... Everyone else is sleeping in a pile of cash in Sweden right now and even walking around their HQ, its locked down and empty during peak hours and I doubt that every single dev has their own dev copy at home or access from home... From what I see is that devs are doing this on purpose... ReWASD is also not as harmful as people say it is... Game has 70K players during peak hours which is quite low for an online competitive game that was released cuz if I compare Overwatch which is also a team based game that requires teamplay over raw aim unlike CS2 or Apex and whatnot... Overwatch had around 2 millions of players active and went up to 20 millions over time before it started falling apart... Swedish people, especially developers and people that work with computers, work 3 hours a day 4 days a week...

Me myself I gave them 3 ways on how to combat cheaters and such yet they refused my help and instead of implementing it into the game to softlock cheaters to play only against cheaters in their MMR cheater bracket, they just let them play and lazer people all over the place... They are using EAC so if they want to get rid of program like ReWASD, you need to realize that that program is supported on many other games that allow you to convert controller to mouse and keyboard input and many people that play on console just for exclusive titles preffer to play using ReWASD soo that being said, EAC wont even think about implementing restriction to ban users using that cuz it would affect everyone that has it and doesnt even play The Finals... It could work only if they were not lazy Swedes as they are and just made their own in house anticheat which I provided them with all instructions on how to do that with their own flexibility so even me myself could not exploit it and yet like I said before, they refused...

So if I should guess, they benefit from cheaters more than they benefit from normal players... Its the same story like Overwatch where Blizzard did nothing against smurfs cuz they were the ones bringing Blizzard more and more money cuz they kept buying accounts to boost them to Masters or Diamond accordingly to buyers request, they had a profit and Blizzard had a sale and a happy new player that was ruining high brackets, eventually got susspended or banned for throwing/trolling and then he went and purchased another account... So I think that Embark is even selling cheats to players cuz currently there are more cheats that were downloaded by players than people in game... Its around 250K as of now and rising each day by 2K+ downloads and the simple cheats like permanent recon sense, no recoil and sprint+ads+shoot are for FREE... I aint gonna provide the website here, I think it is still very sad that people are like this but it aint just ReWASD... people that using that might be like 2% of all cheaters... and 70% of all cheaters are using free cheats thanks to EAC being incompetent...

You can see a dead game when you know that there are more cheaters than legit players and even on official discord them cheaters are flexing and posting screenshots how they wrecked a team while everyone had 0 to 6 elims and that one single person had 40+ elims and his team made all cashouts...

Solution just remove the recoil and give every one and i mean every one aim assist, the player who has the fastest reaction time wins. When everyone is cheating nobody is...

To be fair it's kinda funny that when MnK players use the in-game aim-assist it suddenly is considered cheating... when you play on controller you get that build in cheats just to level the playing field with MnK players.

Crossplay on FPS games was a mistake.

what you have to remember is that rewasd (the program people are using to get aim assist and no recoil on kbm) is intended for disabled people, so banning rewasd on the game would also make some disabled people unable to play. the problem isnt the program itself, its the people that abuse it.

yeah discord is way better because you can delete and ban posts and people you dont like to read, without explaining anything to anyone. so i take the garbage forum instead of the brownnoser discord ;)

so what you are saying is.
there will be only more and more and no solution because we cant punish a few who realy need the programm because many abuseing it ?

Right now Im very close to just gtfo this game and go to the same level as cheaters if nothing is done (doing just dailys and waiting in hope for fix). Use xim/3rd app, prob play for some time and then unistall due to being bored.

I have played Overwatch for very long time, god... I miss their anticheat, I didnt know it was that good till I played Finals.

10+ yr controller 3+ MnK , aim assist has always been broken its a QoL feature so you dont have to sweat 24/7, however with cross play you now have raw vs assisted input, while i think MnK shouldnt get full strength controller AA sticking to targets is not a thing, on MnK that recoil will kick you off in the split seconds that controller AA will keep you on, and those ms are vital in high paced gun fights. players with their crazy controllers with a billion buttons are way more OP than a MnK, hear me out reaching other buttons on MnK require you to lift off your movement or atleast have to strafe in a single direction cause you are down a finger, on Controller your thumb is PLANTED on that stick and is moving. Its those vital ms that win gun fights that in combo with crazyy aim assist im sorry this argument that MnK is better than controller is DUSTED no one is playing on 360 controllers anymore stop the cap and be honest, you are complaining about MnK when you've probably never tried to get good at it, reached a decent level, swapped back and seen how much you were Hand Held with AA on controller. nerf controller AA or give MnK a slight AA.

Have you actually seen people using this? I have yet to have anyone with controller inputs looking like they are on MnK. Aimbotters I encounter very consistently but ReWasd never. That program changes how your mouse feels, and that's a big issue for some, i bet most are using cheats not a emulator.
