Same aim assist as with controllers for Mouse and keyboard users

I have played shooters with controller for over 15 years, and I can say this game does not have aim assist for controllers, if anything Aim assist gets in the way when you have a good controller

It already exists, it's called rewasd. and half of the "pro's" with twitch in their name that migrated over from apex are using it.

Not true. There absolutely is aim assist and it needs to be nerfed. A couple articles for you, first one has top-ranked players that use controller saying the aim assist is too strong:

Everyone cries when they cant win, I for once can barely hit a headshot with the revolver using my One controller try using it yourself before I was gonna say barking but I prefer spreading wrong news go ahead get in the top leaderboards champ just plug a controller and beat us all!!!!!

As you can see is just fake news from sour looser, i play with whatever I get at hand sometimes K-and-M sometimes controller there is no aim assist period, devs some help in here at least not that that I can notice because aim assist force you to go to the central body so making a headshot is really worse as with free aim... I'm telling you there is no aim assist

I love this game. I played in both betas and am doing well, almost gold. However, if you read the articles and watch the videos I linked it seems clear that there is indeed aim assist and it is too strong. We all understand that controllers without aim assist can't compete with keyboard/mouse but there needs to be a balance.

The problem isn't controllers with aim-assist, its keyboard and mouse that have found a way to enable aim-assist without a controller, and yes that is banable since you are not supposed to have aim-assist when using keyboard and mouse.
