RTX 2060. game runs at 70-90 FPS on High settings without OC (1080p).
The Finals is the only game i have this issue with. both my internet and my computer work flawlessly. i tried re-installing, updating drivers, etc and nothing works.
game's connectivity is jank, seen others with a similar connection issues but the reason for it happening is different.
just gonna keep it overclocked when playing the game...
it's not a framerate issue. game runs smooth (ultra 60+) both with and without OC. it's the server connection that completely dies.
it used to work without OC, but ever since i enabled it once, it won't let me go back to non-OC.
If there are no problems with FPS, then change your provider, I live in the forest and the game works fine for me with a 4G modem.
Have you turned off geforce experience in game recording software? I could see it causing issues trying to record and allow gameplay at the same time.
Stop being silly and giving troll advice
all settings run at ~70-100fps. i believe it's a security thing on the server-side when i tamper with the GPU. game runs no-problem when OCing with 10%. also got 100Mbit internet up&down (5G, 8ms)
I don't think it's your internet either. I feel like it is something else you are running such as geforce experience and their cloud software
So shut down geforce experience and all it's software then try gaming, not overclocked.
it's good to note that this all started after i crashed for the first time. before the crash i could change OC/no-OC without any issues.
this is also the only game where this has ever been an issue. i change OC per game all the time
Whatever causes you to crash is likely causing this. One of the things known to do this is Geforce recording software. Why I mentioned the tips above so you can try to fix it.
