Pc crashes at startup
I need some help..
My pc turns off as soon as the screen with easy anticheat goes away.
Have to take the pc for a few seconds from power and then i can start it again.
Pc is not too hot or anything.
all overclocks are disabled.
latest Bios update.
even freshly new installed windows 11
Maybe someone has a solution for this..

Specs:
XFX RX 6900 XT
Ryzen 7 5800X3D
32gb ram
650 watt psu

I wasnt once in the menu idk..

Solution:
It somehow worked now by copying the gamefiles from another pc on my pc, my pc wasnt even able to create the config but im gonna get the new psu anyways

You can confirm this by running a CPU and GPU stress test both at the same time. Try to get %100 usage on both CPU and GPU. My money is on the PSU not being enough to supply both components.

Not every game uses %100 of all the PC, from what I have seen though The Finals really pushes both parts at the same time equally.

AMD officially recommends a minimum of 850 Watt PSU for the 6900 XT
https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-6000-series/amd-radeon-6900-series/amd-radeon-rx-6900-xt

You are probably tripping the PSU which doesn't have enough juice to run a 5800X3D and 6900XT at full load at the same time.

Well for a rule of thumb, you want to be around 50-60% of your Power Supply's range. Just because it is 650 Watts, doesn't mean its able to fully supply the current required by the components.

There's a lot of complex stuff going on with the rails, how much Amp they can supply on each rail etc. Or for example this game may be causing transient spikes which trips the overcurrent protection, but other games don't do that as aggressively.

PSU is really the only one component that you shouldn't be skimping out on money wise. Just get a reputable PSU with good reviews that can handle a high end system.

If the PSU has a catastrophic fault, then it can take other much more expensive components like the graphics card along with it :D

Yes, ordered noe 850 watts from nzxt probably not a bad choice to put it in there 😅
