BSOD Every Time I Launch The Game (Easy Anti-Cheat)

Howdy gamers. I've fallen in love with The Finals, but unfortunately, I am struggling to play it.

Every time I launch the game, I get an error popup from Easy Anti-Cheat, stating it failed to initialize, and then my computer blue screens about 10 seconds later. This is a consistent issue, and I am unsure how to resolve it. I have seen other posts stating the game blue screens during matches, but I am unable to even launch the game.

I play a few other games that use Easy Anti-Cheat (namely SMITE), and even though EAC fails to launch there sometimes, the other games never cause my PC to blue screen. The game simply closes, and I try again. The Finals is the only game that has this issue.

Previously, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and that temporarily fixed the issue. I tried to do that again this morning, however, the blue screens continue. I have also reinstalled Easy Anti-Cheat, and that did not help.

I have already done the "SFC /scannow" windows command, and each time it finds no issues, so I don't believe that's a reliable fix. I have also attempted to disable my antivirus, Windows Defender, to no avail.

Does anyone here have any idea what may be causing this issue, and what I can do to fix it? The Finals has quickly become one of my favorite games (when it works) and I would love to keep playing it with my friends. Of the dozens of games I own and play, this is the only one I have ever encountered that causes a BSOD on my system, and is the only BSOD I've ever had in the 4 years I've owned this.

If there's any documents that may help diagnose the issue, like crashlogs, etc. please let me know and I can happily provide that.

This should go without saying, but no, I do not have any sort of cheating related software installed lol. And I am not looking for any way to remove Easy Anti-Cheat, or bypass it, I simply believe that it may be what is causing my crashes.

i have the same issue but without the blue screens though when my friend and i were playing this game in beta his game kept blue screening without easy anti cheat error until he updated his graphics driver

Ah, yeah, I should have mentioned, but my graphics card driver (Nvidia) and windows are both up to date. As are virtually all of my hardware drivers lol, so I am not sure what else would be causing this error. Super strange

Mine will never BSOD on the first launch but if I haven't restarted my PC after the last time I played it will crash on start up. This isn't an everytime rule but it is the most consistent thing I have found that recreates the issue. I almost wonder if it's some sort of AMD memory leak or something where it's hanging onto some peice of info after launch then bugging out when it tries to compute that part again. Idk pure speculation on my part.
