Ryzen 5600, rtx 3060 low end and or setting shouldnt be an issue in my case

Same here, after playing for 5 minutes this "game" goes to 1 FPS for 10-15 seconds mid-fight, it's so annoying. DEVS please fix this, game becomes unplayable
My spec:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics
GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU
RAM 32GB 1600 Mhz
Win 10 x64
Also seems like CPU usage drops to 0% and then goes back to 50-60% as usual
I checked my voltages and temperature - it's all fine, anyways other games are going smooth, the problem appears only in The Finals

100% a game issue. i just wish we could know what they're working on in terms of fixes.

Yeah guys, rx 6700xt + ryzen 7 5800x from 180-200 fps to 70-100 just after update

Similar issue here. Normally have 100+ fps but occassionally game drops to ~2 or 3 fps making it completely unplayable. All the red warning icons appear. If I leave the tournament then re-join it goes back up to 100+

Running 5900x , 3090 , 32gb ram and the most fps I get with this game is 170 and it's unstable af
Dropping to 80-100 fps occasionally mid fights is super annoying, GPU usage is at 50-60% during those fights like wtf?

I replaced my motherboard and wifi card and it has fixed the issue as of right now

That sounds like... an overkill to fix the issue that appeared after software update of the game files...

i was upgrading anyway, but it fixed the issue so idk...

motherboard that i had has been reported to have power delivery issues to cpu.

but a bunch of people are finding different fixes for the same issue.
(edit) this is just my experience

I really doubt that such lags have to do anything with hardware. If it would be temperature we would experience gradual FPS drop, crashes, freezes etc.

I have this weird red icon fps drops even in tutorial, lol. What the hell?

Is this... is this garbage collector in code doing stuff lol? Devs, is this like your code clears some physical objects or something and we get fps frops?

Probably in recent update some dev did something like

"MainThread.run(clearShit())"

instead of

"BackgroundThread.run(clearShit())"

I've been running into the same issues (7800X3D and 6700XT), running fullscreen at 2K. My frames will be at my monitor refresh rate cap basically, around 240 in lobby, then about 5 minutes after leaving the game launched, not alt tabbing or doing anything at all the FPS will drop to around 40, sometimes even lower. After a about a minute of this it recovers and the issue does not happen again until the game is restarted.

I tested this in Windowed mode in 1080 and it still occurs. What looks like is happening is the GPU utilization drops to almost nothing and the CPU util spikes up, probably to pick up the load. There is no change in VRAM or system RAM, it's not loading or unloading anything, the process looks like it's dropping the GPU for a while then picking it back up. I looked at the Discovery.exe PID in ProcMon but there's really nothing going on at the OS level, this is something happening within the game client.

This is what it looks like in the metrics:

I think the best solution at the moment is to launch the game and wait ~5 minutes until this happens, THEN join a lobby or start a game that way it doesn't happen while you're playing.
