Frame generation gone?

The AI frame gen for 40xx cards option is completely gone since last patch. I haven't done any changes to my system. Anyone else had this bug?

I think you can enable it via the settings file in %AppData%\Local\Discovery\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini

The option is there in the file, however I only have a 3080 so I can't confirm whether or not the toggle works. Good luck.

Hey,

thanks for the reply. I found out the issue. I had to reinstall the game due to an out of memory bug and for some reason steam had saved old launchoptions forcing the game in dx11 which doesnt support frame gen.

Removed that now and its back. Thanks anyway

I just got the same issue. I have 4080 yet couldnt find frame gen. Uninstalled yet still no frame gen, hoping this is a bug or something.

I have this problem - it has been happening for about a month now. I had an RTX 3060 video card, now it's 4060 Ti, but I still can't see the necessary item in the settings, even when I reinstalled the driver and NVIDIA App from scratch...

It seems that yes, as one of the users noted here - i need to try to enable “Frame generation” by changing the game configuration file. I don’t see any other options for myself at the moment…
