I was just banned for using a third-party crosshair (Crosshair X) and am no longer able to connect to games

UPDATE
I received an additional update for the game and was able to connect to servers again. Im thinking that the game only gives you a shadow ban if you start up the game with a crosshair program and if you close the crosshair and restart the game youre unbanned?

It's similar to putting a bit of blutack on your monitor; games like rust which is incredibly competitive allow it. Don't see the issue..

You can litterly put a dot on your screen with tape or use a monitor crosshair and do the same thing for free. Calling it an unfair advantage when its available to anyone is kind of far off; however I do think they need to fix their crosshair in the game being that there is multiple times when their crosshair or sites is just not in the right spot for example while jumping. This is a must fix if they want to ban for that but is pointless as well considering easier options for free that by the way are not banable because there would be no way to detect it.
