Where is Linux support?
Easy Anti-cheat (which is what this game uses) has had support for Linux for some time now. While it might not be one-click enable easy, it is something that I would've expected the devs to enable.

EDIT 3: as of January 18, 2024, the game launches, runs, and plays decently well on the Steam Deck with Proton Experimental. It also now runs on my main pc (Arch, kernel 6.7.4, Xorg, nvidia proprietary drivers). The only problem I've noticed is there must be a memory leak somewhere in the code that causes it to crash 1-1.5 hours after I start playing. If you are having problems getting the game to run on Proton Experimental, try using Proton Hotfix.

Yup, I would play it if there is a Linux support. Оtherwise, I won't switch to win for this game for sure!

I don’t want to offend anyone, but is someone using Linux in 2023? :)

More and more people. With Micro$oft politics I will never return to their OS. I'm not a sheep and I'm not for sale. :)

With SteamDeck more and more game studios start to take sure that Linux is well supported.
Actually, the performance in Linux is way better than it was before. Now it almost equal to Win (+/- 3-5%). Only things like anti-cheats prevent every single game to be perfectly playable on Linux.

LMAO micro-sheep that pays money to a corporation for a OS to play games on that said corporation than uses his personal info to profit off of while you pay for gamepass, and office programs is mad that the users who dont pay ♥♥♥♥ for a OS (that uses less resources thus increasing performance) want games that can easily be proton/vulkan compatible.

Hows telemetry handling these days? still hoggin 3 GB of ram for no reason?

Right now there are about 2 million desktop Steam users regularly gaming on Linux. That's not including the roughly ~3 million Steam Deck users. It's not a huge market share, but it's growing every year and they're a very vocal community who consistently spends more on games than Windows users does.

Yea, we all are. Thus why we are here. I mean both call-outs were unneeded for the post. But I can respect matching sass.

+1.

2.4 million monthly active Linux users on Steam need to be supported.
