As I already said, unless the software has code that specifically signals to the kernel to shut down the system, it will never make your pc shutdown, especially not instantly. Even for bad GPU drivers, its incredibly rare for it to cause a system shutdown, usually it'll either just give a blank screen or BSOD.
You could start by turning off xmp and then if that doesnt work go on some random tech forum like tomshardware or ltt for further help.
Found the culprit, it was an out of date BIOS which caused the CPU to go PBO no watt. Case closed >_<'
I cant find the solution. 6800 xt still black screen on battlefield 2042 after 1-2 hours of gameplay, and i have to force shut down. New version of bios. Xmp and resizable bar off. Freesync off.
That is completely incorrect. A poorly optimized game or driver CAN cause the pc to crash, unless u can explain to me how the system I just built, and works fine on literally every other game or usage case, including stress tests, is the issue 😂. For reference, I literally just built a 7900 xtx, corsair ddr5 32gb ram, corsair rm850x gold psu, and 7800x3d which is water cooled. Playing this game is the only time it’s crashed since I’ve had it.
New World had a similar issue on launch as well, for reference.
