"if you want more players" it's in closed beta and thousands if not more are wanting access to it. you won't know how popular it is until it's released. that being said, it doesn't have to be one or another. what we now know as fortnite: save the world, was the original fortnite and it stayed in existence when the BR mode was released and stayed in existence throughout the BR modes peak popularity. but i also agree with the other dude about BR popularity. just because it gets the most views doesn't mean the most people are playing it.
if the other BRs are still so popular and great, why do you need another BR? it's like telling someone that is taste testing their new energy drink that they should change it to a soda instead.
