Applied for Close Beta - did not get a key

Is there anyone else that applied for BETA access but did not get a key while others on their Discord server applied for keys and have been given one within minutes? My SPAM folder is also empty and the Steelseries GiveAway thing did not work as I kept getting an error.

i got one within one day it might be that your steam profile is worth a dollar and you also have a private profile? if i would make a game i wouldnt give people an key either when they have an profile where ppl can cheat with, logical thinking huh?

Just 'cause my profile is private, doesn't mean I am cheating.
If *I* were to make a game, I sure as heck would not worry about profiles being on private. How's that for some logic?

They're not scamming, but it is weird that people who applied for BETA recently got a key while I know people that have applied months ago and still haven't received one.

I applied way back when and didnt get invited. I told a couple buddies who didnt even know the game existed about the beta and they got in instantly. thats some bull XD

Welcome to the CLOSED BETA lottery, where you can put your name in and maybe get an invite. Just cause you sign up for something doesn't mean you are entitled to it. People whining they aren't getting a key is like someone buying a raffle ticket and crying their ticket didn't win despite buying one of the first ones.

If people are bloody patient there will surely be an open beta at some stage, when the game and the servers are more stable.

Yeah I get what you're saying and I do agree except for the fact that it's kind of unbalanced. I feel like it should be a first come, first serve thing. I don't feel entitled at all, and I am definitely willing to wait for the open beta, it just left a bad taste in my mouth, that is all. :)

What's more. The lottery doesn't really seem to favour you in the long term. All the posts here from people saying they signed up ages ago is kind of the underlining issue. You'd think there'd be posts from people saying they signed up a long time ago and got a key months or weeks later. But those people don't really exist.

Instead everyone saying they got keys are always people who waited minutes, hours, or a day. So are people who signed up a while ago just permanently rejected until the open beta or something? Cause it kind of seems that way unless posters are misrepresentative of the situation and everyone who waits months or weeks just disappear into the game to never post again.

There is a new forum for the closed beta. My guess is that most of the active players are going to give their feedback there and don't or rarerly visit this forum in the meantime.

I don't really see the older requested folks saying they finally got a key on the discord either. Where as it does have plenty of people always saying they got a key right away.

yea my brother didnt even have to request one he could just download from the steam page. he plays in alot of early access games so that may be why but still bs ive been waiting over a week
