Hello,
I was so happy to try this game,
unfortunately, i got 50 fps with a gtx 1070 and an i7 6700k.

I'm sorry but for someone that paid 1400$ 4 years ago for a gaming PC and that can't handle a game like this now ...

Please do something, this game looks promisig but you cannot let 1/3 of the pc players under 100 fps in medium in a mid range PC. This would be a big L.

Your GPU is an antique by PC gaming standards. It's a 7 year old GPU. What do you expect from a GPU that came out 7 years ago?

The CPU, well it's almost 8 years old.

Your system is OLD AF by all PC gaming standards. It's good for CS GO, but not for a game that is pushing graphical fidelity with a modern gaming engine.

Stfu Talon,this game is positioned as a COMPETITIVE game, it's a scandal that it doesn't run at a decent framerate on machines that are a few years old. If he loses all his success it will be mainly because of that.

Lol your PC is just terrible at this point, 7-8 year old stuff can't compete anymore. Also your PC is not Mid range, it's minimum requirement to even start the game XD also, just because you bought it for way too much money 4 years ago doesn't mean it is as powerful as brand new hardware from 4 years ago. Even 4 years ago that PC wasn't worth more than 350/400$.

4 years ago 350$ are you kidding me ? the gtx 1070 was out in 2017 and worth 500$, cpu isnt that new but i can play battlefield 5 in high 80 fps, explain that ? its just not optimized, how can a game like bf5 with bigger map, higher detailsn more players per servers, vehicles and every stuff get higher fps ? yes its not finished but no its a closed beta,optimisation sucks and it should be an alpha for this.

To be a fair a 1070 is very low end nowadays. I have a 1080ti and I consider it lower mid range.

I cannot believe there are people who defend this atrocious performance in this game by saying "Your PC is really old, you should upgrade". My specs go above recommended specs yet I can't maintain steady 60 frames on LOWEST possible graphics in 4:3, but my friend who has GTX 1660 with i5 6600k runs The Finals at steady 80-90 frames on high graphics. Absolute clowns.

RX 6700 XT with Ryzen 7600X here.

your talking like under 100 fps is bad for a 4 year old mid range pc build. do you seriously expect developers to continue making beautiful games and advances in graphics and gameplay while magically making it perform without issue on 4 or more year old parts?
first off, 50 fps is totally playable, and second, anything that is above 50 is also obviously playable. this is a beta, so i'm sure more optimization will arrive in the full game.

actually my current pc is almost exactly the same as OP's pc. this 1070 is a great card still, i am pushing a hundred fps in very good looking games like hell let loose, arma 3, sniper elite, etc... oh also on maxed setting 1080p. don't get it twisted, the 1070 is equivalent to a 3060 which i bet if he had a 3060 you would've thought differently about his experience.

read my comment above for talon. but essentially a 1070 is still a perfectly capable part. when i played the alpha playtest for this game the game ran at around 60 fps on medium. i myself have no idea how his fps is worse than mine though, since the fps on the beta should've improved drastically.

not so sure about that. the 1070 is comparable performance wise to the 3060, and the 1080 ti is comparable to the 3070. just because the 3070 released recently doesn't mean its not beaten by older parts. if you looked at a 3060 you wouldn't call it very low end, and if you had a 3070 you would think it could run just about anything. a gpu needs to be paired with a good cpu to get its full worth. you also need fast ram, a good powersupply, updated bios, updated drivers, etc...

Look up the benchmarks, the 3060 is around 25% better than the 1070.

1070 is more around the 3050. 1080ti around the 3060ti.

Combine that with NVIDIAs love to slow down older hardware and you see how low end the 1070 actually is.
