UE5 version 5.0.3

source? I believe you, just asking.
Not source, unreal! :)
The crash handler opens with UE5 so it's definitely UE5. Which explains the high minimum spec needed. But the engine is very future proof and the spec ceiling is also pretty low. (:
It's still a bit janky though.

Hope they can iron out the rubberbanding. We know this problem from earlier BF titles because of serverside CPU limitations. I'd be happy to help Embark out but unfortunately I'm not working there. xD

Love the game so far! (:

Big fan of those guys since the AMIGA times. xD

According to the web search results, **The Finals** is developed by **Embark Studios**, a new game studio founded by former **Battlefield** developers³. The game uses a **custom-built engine** that allows for realistic and dynamic environmental destruction². The game is not based on **Unreal Engine** or **Luminous Engine**, which are used for other games such as **Final Fantasy 16**¹. I hope this answers your question.😊

Great example why you shouldn't use these chat bots to get your answers. It is UE5 like others already said.
as usual. they wrapped it up for years didnt they, even though they are still bottom rung of the ladder. biggest piece of ♥♥♥♥ engine i ever played. good for devs tho. lol

oddly enough, if you type "the finals game engine" into google, you'll get results saying it's both UE4 and UE5. so I'm not sure anymore. It doesn't seem to be using Lumen for ray tracing though, so probably just UE4.
Probably UE4 based on the level of customization done. UE5 might have come out after they started making the game.

It could be UE5, it's only the Lumen and Nanite features that require DX12, which the game doesn't seem to have since there's an option to run it in DX11.

Several months ago in their discord they said UE 4. Whether they have converted it in the meantime to 5 I am not sure
It's 100% UE5. I got ue5 crash while game :)
a 2 second google search informed me that it is, in fact, unreal engine 5
They use Unity engine btw
It's Unreal 5

Unreal Engine with the "AngelScript" fork
It has raytracing, if u put Global Illumination on Static it should use software RT.(think it was even in dwscription in settings).
