➞ What is THE FINALS?
THE FINALS is a game-show themed, round-based 3v3v3v3 FPS with virtual arenas that you can alter, exploit, and even destroy!

➞ Will this game be released on PC and console?
Yes! THE FINALS will be available for PC and console!

➞ When will the game be released?
We are still making the game and will release that information closer to the date.

➞ When is the next playtest?
The closed beta test starts on March 7th, 2023. If you want to be a part of that, you can apply by Requesting Access on Steam. The starting time will be announced the day of, on our #game-announcements channel

➞ How long will the closed beta last?
The closed beta will last two weeks; the last day is March 21st, 2023.

➞ Will the closed beta include my region?
The closed beta will run on servers in North America, Europe, and East Asia. Players outside these regions are not eligible to join this playtest.

➞ Will the closed beta be localized in my language?
The closed beta test is fully available in English and partially localized in French, Spanish, German, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

➞ Will the closed beta be on console?
The closed beta is only available through Steam on PC.

➞ It doesn't give me the option to sign up again. What do I need to do?
If it shows you the option to install/play on Steam, you don't need to apply again, as your account is already registered!

➞ If I was in the alpha, am I guaranteed to get into the beta?
If you got access to the alpha through the Steam playtest signup, you will still have access to the beta once it begins by updating to the latest playtest build. However, alpha access obtained by keys or other means won’t guarantee you access to the beta.

➞ How many people are getting into the beta?
The beta playtest will support considerably more players than the alpha we ran in September 2022. While we hope that as many eligible players as possible will be able to try the game, we cannot guarantee access. Keys will be sent out continuously, so you may be granted access at any time throughout the beta period.

➞ Will the closed beta be under NDA for streaming and sharing?
The closed beta is not under NDA, meaning you can share footage and your impressions of the beta, and we encourage content creators to take advantage of that! However, you still may not share footage of the alpha build.

➞ What game modes will there be in the closed beta?
There will be a quickplay, tournament mode, and shooting range.

➞ Does progress from playtests transfer?
Your progress in the alpha will not transfer to the beta, however, certain rewards from the beta will transfer to the release.

➞ Will there be any microtransactions in the beta?
Nothing in the beta will involve real money as it is only a playtest.
