Game Crashing Frequently
I'm nearly 20 hours into this game, and I love it to death.
That being said, the 4th and 5th stage bosses both frequently cause crashing.

I'm playing on a Japanese locale, I've verified the game files integrity, I've looked everywhere for a solution to this issue.

Someone please help me, I want to enjoy this game to its fullest extent.

That is unfortunate.

Have you tried running the game executable in a compatibility mode?

1. Go to the folder that contains the game files. Should be something within your Steam folder, go to steamapps, then go to common, then find the eXceed 2nd folder.

2. Find the .exe file that is the game program. Right-click it, and click Properties.

3. Click the top tab that says Compatibility. Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then choose any operating system.

This is supposed to help make older applications work on newer operating systems. Doesn't always work, but sometimes it does.
