Original eXceed 2nd - Vampire

I've looked around for the original version of this game, but have only found a few gameplay videos and mentions. Anyone know where I could get, or simply watch, the original eXceed 2nd - Vampire? I'd prefer to watch a full playthrough rather than play it myself, because I'm a cheapass and dun wanna buy it from a Japanese site

I'm just really curious about the differences in the bosses. I've seen gameplay of the first boss battle, but I'm really curious about Anhel's battle, assuming it's also different compared to REX.

In short, Vampire is forgettable just like Gun Bullet Children:

It's ugly, it's badly balanced, and the level design is just as bad as the one from Gun Bullet Children. All it had for it was it's bipolarity idea, which Vampire Rex remade into a far better game.

No wonder they tried to hide it from the Steam release, and Gun Bullet Children would probably have been too if it wasn't the first game story-wise.

Still, I will try to see if I can beat it on max difficulty, so I could make a good enough video to post here.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it was way harder than I thought. I'll upload the video tomorrow. I had also had to do a Normal 1CC, instead of Hard.

Even in Normal, there one or two patterns that are not humanly possible. In Hard the developpers had the best idea ever: "Let's double every projectiles, and suicid bullets for everyone!". Furthemore, the only things keeping the Normal difficulty from being insane is the fact that your laser recharge at least two times faster than the Vampire REX one. In Hard, this recharge rate is halved.

I'm not even sure Hard mode is doable, with the sheer amount of near impossible passages.

Ouch. I remember Gun Bullet Children had a simlar problem. It was mainly just luck whether you got through or not due to the sheer amount of RNG bullets that could group and and completely block your pathway, all because of those death bombs. Ha, maybe that's what they are doing , pressing X before death :P REX handles it much better by ensuring it isn't random directions, they are aimed at the player.

Too bad, my capture stretched the game a bit. I'm still surprised there are absolutly no other complete runs on Youtube.

This will go nicely with my Vampire REX old run.
