Harmonie Boss Fight Timing Circles are off?

Hard mode removes the dodge indicators. Upon starting the Hard Mode battle you get prompted with A NEW TUTORIAL that is different from the ordinary one.

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding something, but it feels like the timing circles in Harmonie's boss fight are completely whack:

First picture is as small as the circle will ever get - second image is literally the next frame and it's already too late and I've taken damage? Getting the feeling this isn't working as intended? Either middle symbol has to be bigger, or outer circle needs to close in faster. As is - this is just visually confusing and I ended up completely ignoring the visual cue from circle and just hitting the big note on reaction which gave me a better success rate.

Anyone else experiencing this? I tried playing around a bit with the calibration settings, but they don't seem to affect the circle in any way.

Hey Thanks!
I didn't realize that Hard Mode removes the dodge indicators because I skipped over the tutorial "since I had already seen it..." - once you pointed out that getting hit removes the circle I figured out what was going on!
The fault is on me...

I'm having the exact same issue on Hard mode. I managed to beat medium with no issues. Then for Hard the circles are just way off and I can't figure out the timing of it at all.

And sometimes I just get no symbols at all. Not sure what I'm supposed to do
If you take damage the middle circle and symbol will disappear. When I dodge the attack the circle shrink normally and the middle symbol will flash white when circle fully collapsed

I didn't realize that Hard Mode removes the dodge indicators because I skipped over the tutorial "since I had already seen it..." - once you pointed out that getting hit removes the circle I figured out what was going on!

What's kinda funny - every time you launch hard boss fight it warns you with a promt "Dodge indicators will be removed in Hard". I thought this is too much, reminding me this every time, I've read it 3 times already... Yet there are people who simingly constantly skip warning and then report it as an issue xD

...though, that warning comes with Harmonie standing in background no matter the actual boss fight - which actually is a bug. Minor one, but a bit confusing still

Yeah I feel pretty dumb lmao. I even left an edit for that in the OP.
Since they forced the Tutorial on you every single time for the normal mode after I'd already gone through it I just automatically skipped past it on the next difficulty. I would've much rather been told the first time I went through it!
