Potential Expansions to the story/more characters from the original?

I know this game will be getting updates, but is there any news for the story or more characters from Crypt? I'd really like to see Klarinetta for example (I really like her design). It's also interesting to me that Melody or Aria aren't in the game at all at the moment, so I imagine they would probably add them at some point. The story, while fun, also felt kind of short to me. More bossfights and minigames would just be cool in general.
