can't get game to accept my combo
whenever three of something pops up on screen, i'll click all three buttons, but one always completely missed, despite me clicking all 3 at the same (or at least same enough it shouldn't be a full miss). not sure if i missed something in the tutorials or something, all the buttons work fine on their own, its just when i try using all three

Hi there, this may have something to do with your keyboard. There are some keyboards that cannot accept 3 key presses at the same time, especially on the arrow keys for whatever reason. I would recommend to try binding your keys to a different area of the keyboard to see if that works, or use a different keyboard. This is part of why we have implemented the Down button to hit all 3 lanes since there are quite a few keyboards that cannot do this.

Oh! I must have missed the down button thing, that sounds like a simple fix haha! I appreciate the feedback, thank you

Specifically three keys in a diagonal formation like the default often cause issues. If you use three keys in a row (and maybe not arrow keys), chances are higher it'll work.

Thanks! Maybe using the arrow keys for left and right and w for up?

You can also use the "Invert Up and Down In Rhythm Rifts" setting in the Controls menu to swap the binding without needing to rebind the keys!

So much good advice! I'll give it another go!

If you plan to play more rhythm games in the future, always get a mechanical keyboard with n-key-rollover. Also great for games with more complex inputs at the same time.

Edit: Windows interface drivers that are installed with a normal keyboard have the problem that many button combinations cannot be pressed. It's limited. The n-key "hack" installs additional devices even though you only use one keyboard. That allows windows to process theoretically all combinations at the same time. Also, the keyboards themselves are built differently and anti-ghosting is also a thing and disables false ghost inputs.

Never played a lot of rhythm games (besides guitar hero and games on my phone) but if I get into this genre more, that's great advice, thank you
