Game runs okay

The issues are more related to the engine itself than anything else, the best antialiasing is TAA but even then things from a far distance will look bad no mather what, even if you put the game in 4k

So the best option is to turn on DLSS for more fps

Unfortunately my laptop has no DLSS

Use fsr then

A 1050 is similar to the steam deck which can run the game at 720p 40fps at medium settings fsr quality

Same, thrust me most issues are related to the engine itself

Did that improve the performance?

I have an old i5 5540 with a 1050ti and it's playable for me (better graphics, lower fraterate) if I turn off other screen and run it 1920x1080 with HDR with most things on high (default AA tho) but without DLSS etc. I find the upscaling stuff really makes the city and scenery look bad.

I'd been hoping GeforceNow would pick up the game so I could crank it 4k but no loving.

So the graphics and performance aren't that great on my specs and it's better to buy it on PS5 right ?

If you have a PS5, get it on that. A recent update kinda ruined PC performance and it doesn't even run that well on any GPU anymore.

Yup but I am working away from home and have my laptop with me rn , so I was thinking to get it on pc or not

The only difference I've noted since the last couple updates is that it loads into windowed mode or something now and then and resets some settings. Exiting and reloading the game after checking settings has fixed that for me tho tonight I had to do it twice for the first time. Afterwards the performance was fine, and I haven't noticed declines in performance. However, obviously a PS5 would run the game better than this old computer.

If you have a good setup at home and love the franchise then wait and get it based on best experience. Having played most of the game, I'd say it'll make a decent difference on overall experience based on all the item interactions. But if you had to, you could on those specs as I have.

On consoles you can expect the dips in some areas and objects far away looking blurry combined with the awful antialiasing; but maybe it has a better performance than pc

PS5 has around 3x the processing power and bandwidth compared to a 1050 so it would run the game maxed out without an issue because the game isn't that demanding. If you were using older consoles then ya it might mean a lower quality.

If your CPU is better than mine which is likely you'd be fine. The way the graphics are done playing at 1080 doesn't look bad even on a larger 4k monitor.

Anyway, have fun if you choose to pick it up.

Runs better then Yakuza 7/K2/Y6 and 0 on my 2k16 PC build
