I was also happy to have a reason to play oicho-kabu as I enjoy it, but it's just been a waste of time and money in past games...now I actually get useful progression from playing while I have fun :)
in this case i started with sujimon farm,i leveled lots of them to lv50 and max evolved them by chapter5 which im currently now.
to do that, i spammed platinum trainers. and while travelling between them i kept spamming shakedowns on low level groups. plus buying those cheap presents on windows.by now tomizawa and kiryu got lv70bond level. i havent even unlock job change mechanic lulz. meanwhile thanks to sujimon farm , i got 300k cash saved already. which means lotta gifts i can buy if i wish to do so.
now i just recruited chitose , so i havent try new friends mechanic on gambling points, but as far as i can say, its always like it has been. what i mean, its to farm that x currency from that vendor and get unique rewards, not to actually farm money or bonds.
but it seems like this s a method aswell, maybe even faster than what i been doing. we can farm points for gambling meanwhile we can farm bond aswell. multitasking.
so, noted. thanks.
but i dont fully agree something, i dont think koi and kabu are fastest way to make money.
what i figured in first LaD is big money in Majhong tournament, the highest tier one.
True, AI cheats a lot in majhong but a bit of patience , luck and some save scumming , you can end up millions upon millions Very early game. in Infinite wealth i havent check Majhong yet so it might not be viable anymore. what i mean if there re still tournaments or not.
i also need to put your method to test tomorrow, i want to compare it if sujimon platinum or kabu brings more money as fast as possible.
Before you leave Yokohama in chapter 2 the mahjong parlor can earn you a ridiculous amount of cash (for early game) once you unlock the final tournament. To get there you first have to amass 1,500,000 yen to play at the pro table and win which will take a while as the medium table doesn't pay out too well. Once you do though and take the steps to unlock the final tournament it's a 1,000,000 yen entry for a 5,000,000 yen payout which is quite good until you unlock the dungeon in chapter 5. Unfortunately the Hawaii mahjong tournament is garbage and only pays out $5000 (and a bottle of Sake) for a $1000 entry.
Sujimon league is also decent money while you're completing it; Platinum trainers give $1k per match while you level your units up/farm tickets for gacha as you found yourself. Once you progress a bit further in chapter 5 though you will unlock the dungeon (Hawaiian Haunt) which is absolutely the best way to get money for the time being. If your level is low you may need to repeat floors a few times, but you'll be getting $300k+ for each run of floor 26-30+final boss while you level up jobs and get gear/dungeon points to buy upgrade materials. I haven't spent the time to grind to 50 to attempt the final floors yet , but since you can't get the best weapons (except one of Ichiban's) until later in the game due to material restrictions I don't think I'll worry about it until then since it would probably take more time that it's worth at this point.
I'm quite pelased that they made the earlier dungeons worthwhile in this game when in the last one only (True) Final Millenium tower was worth farming. It's also nice that job stats are much less important than basic level stats so switching to a new job is MUCH less punishing than before, especially with skill inheritance available.
