btw this is a soap opera, has always been, don't expect Dostoevsky, just cheesy and sometimes cool things.
I understand how the yakuza series work as a story point of view... but jesus, they really went deep on this one.
+1 for bad Japanese writing, probably because it's a very different culture.
Did you get to play further? What do you think about the game? I am finishing 7 now and pondering buying this, or waiting for DLCs/fixes.
oh, don't get me wrong. I love yakuza games. I'm usued to badly structured and nonsensical japanese writing dialogue, but this game is bad beyond Kojima levels.
The game is great tho, easily one of my favorite games of the year. I usually ignore DLCs tho. The other complain i have apprt the bad writting is... the game is just oo... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.... long....
I get that they are trying to fully introduce Kiryu to a whone new audience without the need for them to play Yakuza 1-6, but jesus... They ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ added a whole game for Kiryu within the game.
Get ready for a 100-150 hour game.
Thanks for the input.
