You will land in sewers, again, in the new area, too, on top of having many areas being similar to each other, once again...
So no: Dungeons stay the same.
Each dungeon is split into multiple floors and have a mid-way checkpoint to make your exit to the entrance and you can resume from that point later on. They have a "super-boss" towards their finale (you get a save point before it) & smaller mini-boss encounters scattered in between. Once you're done with the base dungeon run, an EX version unlocks which gives even harder enemies that give higher loot, XP & money. You'll also need to run them to get class specific ultimate gear, which is definitely worth the effort. I found it to be much easier than Like a Dragon. There is absolutely nothing in here that even remotely rivals the likes of that crazy True Final Millennium Tower dungeon from Like a Dragon.
