Game's Shader Cache
- Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\SEGA\LikeADragon8\Steam
- There, delete $lad8.pipeline.d3d12.cahe and $lad8.pipeline.d3d12.cache.preload
Windows DirectX Shader Cache
- Now, go to Start>Settings>System>Storage>Temporary files.
- Wait for it to fill, select DirectX Shader Cache and click "Remove Files"
Graphics Card Shader Cache (AMD steps only)
- Now, delete also the shader for your graphics card. I don't know about nVidia. But, on AMD, you go into Radeon Settings> Gaming > Scroll down to "Reset Shader Cache" and click "Perform Reset"
Now, start the game again and let it build shaders on startup.
You should also verify integrity of game cache on Steam just to be sure that the update installed correctly.
If you keep pushing out updates left and right like the Lord of Fallen 2023 team did with DLSS FG, you're gonna run into problems. At first, it was all good with just a few minor graphic glitches, but they just couldn't resist constantly updating the game every few days. Now FG is totally busted and they don't seem too bothered about fixing it.
Right now FG+DLAA is working fine in Like a dragon, please don't f it up.
There's nothing inherently wrong with frequent small updates.
