Cheaper Poundmates mod
Saw someone post one of their mods on here, so I figured why the heck not.

Cheaper Poundmates: https://www.nexusmods.com/likeadragoninfinitewealth/mods/126/?tab=description

Essentially, all the summoning prices have been changed except for the lowest tier Poundmates, considering they’re already dirt cheap. Prices will only increase once in a single battle upon first summon, which will remain consistent for further summons. The price inflation has also been nerfed to a huge degree.

Hopefully this will encourage people to use them more, even if they don’t need to rely on them. Poundmates is a fun little system, so why not take out the horrendous changes RGG made to make it more enjoyable?

Is it your mod? Just curious, I beat the game and I did think some of the final tier 100k once were a bit over the top price considering the damage difference, but at the same time I had 30 million+ so it felt like there is nothign else I could spend money on. I would prefer they do more damage rather than cost less for the final tier kinds.

yes, I created the mod. and I agree about the pricing. it was absolutely ridiculous regardless of where you were at in the game and needed to be changed, in my opinion.

the goal of the mod wasn't to make the game easier, although that's definitely what it did as collateral, but rather to redeem a feature that has been executed horribly. perhaps they designed it to discourage people relying on them too hard, but this just wasn't the way to do it.

again, all my opinion, hence why I created the mod.

Yeah, it was annoying because they (RGG, I mean) clearly put in a lot of effort to build the system out and to record the cinematics only to discourage people from using it. By the time I had enough cash to use the Poundmates system, I already completely forgot that it existed because my party was strong enough to handle pretty much everything.

I posted the dungeon door removal mod, it wasn't my mod, I just happened to be browsing nexus and saw it. I consider it to be an essential mod, just like Silent Island which removes that idiot over the loudspeaker so you can enjoy Dondoko Island in peace. So I highly recommend that one too. As far as this one, if you get to end game and especially if you have the Big Swell DLC, money isn't really an issue. I still don't have the achievement for 30 poundmates though specifically because there was almost no point to ever using it given how expensive it was. I only ever used it in the Asakura substories since the pacing on them seemed wildly off and I was underleveled when I bumbled into them.
