Is it your mod? Just curious, I beat the game and I did think some of the final tier 100k once were a bit over the top price considering the damage difference, but at the same time I had 30 million+ so it felt like there is nothign else I could spend money on. I would prefer they do more damage rather than cost less for the final tier kinds.
the goal of the mod wasn't to make the game easier, although that's definitely what it did as collateral, but rather to redeem a feature that has been executed horribly. perhaps they designed it to discourage people relying on them too hard, but this just wasn't the way to do it.
again, all my opinion, hence why I created the mod.
Yeah, it was annoying because they (RGG, I mean) clearly put in a lot of effort to build the system out and to record the cinematics only to discourage people from using it. By the time I had enough cash to use the Poundmates system, I already completely forgot that it existed because my party was strong enough to handle pretty much everything.
