Substory 23

I had some trouble with this one despite looking at multiple guides, just putting it out there that you need to physically run around the 2 flower locations in the guide (they were unmarked for me) before the speech bubble on the map showed up to start the substory. There was no prompt on the flowers just get especially close to them and then substory can be started after/in chapter 4 as the guides say.

yeah, there are two trees. I just randomly stumbled upon them. One is by the pagoda, west of the palekana orphanage, north of the food truck. The other one is roughly in the middle of the park south of the large mall, to the east of the basketball courts. They stand out because they have blue flowers. You then have to chase those flowers down again for the substory once it starts.

So I've found both trees they were unmarked I've run up to them and around them even took a picture on Ichi's phone but nothing I do triggers him to comment on them

did you start the substory? i don't think there is any reaction until you're in the substory.

if you are, iic, there was a button prompt, I think it was X on an xbox controller. Maybe he just reacted when you walked up. Check out the substory on youtube

Every guide and video I've found say you have to find the trees before the sub story can even start. I even go to where the arguing couple should be for the sub story to start and there is no one there

where are you at in the story? there are some chapters that lock you out of certain substories and side activities.

I have just started Chapter 5. Should I just go back to Revole I usually like to spend the begging of chapters cleaning up any sub stories I didn't finish from the chapter before

Yeah, actually I don't think that particular substory starts until like Ch 11.

That's the guide I mainly use for anything LaD/Yakuza related and it's listed in chapter 4. Guess I'll just keep the page upon and check back every few hours. Thanks for the help I usually do things in order so I got a little strung up on
