The Magic of Cleaning
The housekeeper is a pretty great concept for a "regular job" fire-and-water spellcasting class... in theory. My beef is she has the Money Sucker skill so in practice she spends most of her time sucking for money.

You make more money than you can spend, so spend that time smacking the enemies with your broom instead.

Loot first, ask questions later. Bank before skank. This is all very important and it let me have white tuxedos and wedding dresses on everyone by the halfway point.

The best skill for housekeeper has got to be the enemy buff remover skill. You are right the the money suck skill failed more often than not for me so I gave up trying it but as valium stated, by postgame you should have way more money than you need.

This! That skill is guard-breaking too.

Yup, being a pretty heavy-hitting grapple makes it incredibly good like that.

Heck, even better, you also get a kiwami skill that does the same thing, perfect for catching enemies with lots of evasion-buffs and the like.

It's called Scum Scraper and I always have it on my Chitose, because everyone needs some water magic now and then. Good choice.

Money Sucker is at its best on the first turn of a fight, when all the bad guys are still alive and clumped together in a tight group. That's why I keep it on my super-speedy Chitose (not that there's any othere choice). It will steal from everything on screen, even though the area-of-effect template doesn't show it.

I'm not concerned about having too much money in the post-game, because the post-game is when you turn your machine off and go do something else.
