How do you switch to kiryu at the point of no return?

im at the point of no return and im about to finish everything with kasuga and im wondering where i can switch to kiryu to finish his stuff

if there is no option to switch protag in ichis bar upstairs then you cant. Though you should be able to go back to kiryu once ichis side of story cuts off

you automatically go to Kiryu after finishing Ichiban's segment.

It'll swap you to Kiryu at the appropriate time in the story.

You will get the point of no return warning twice.

The first time is in the final chapter as Ichiban on Hawaii and the second time is as Kiryu in Japan. You cannot switch between them at this point, so it is a case of doing everything you want to do on Ichiban first and then doing everything you want to do with Kiryu second as the others have said.

It's a little confusing, but iirc if you read the warning it says this is your last time in Hawaii to finish up Hawaii related content, it doesn't talk about Japan because this is not yet the point of no return for that area.
