[SPOILERS] Point of no return and NG+ questions

So I'm at the chapter 14 point of no return, and the game tells me that this is the last chance to finish drink links and substories. This surprised me, because I thought the point of Premium Adventure was to finish side content.

I was really hoping to finish the game, then do the substories and remaining drink links in Premium Adventure, and then taking that to NG+.

Does anyone know whether:

1. You can keep doing substories and drink links in Premium Adventure.
2. You can start NG+ from a Premium Adventure save.

Might seem like silly questions, but I just want to finish the story now without missing out on the chance to finish the side stuff before NG+. The game seems to be saying the opposite, but I have a hard time believing it.

Premium adventure exists like in every other yakuza game, so yes. You can complete everything after the story is over. The game is just trying to tell you that those will be your last time exploring freely UNTIL you complete the game which will take a lot of hours.

That's what I thought, it was just phrased like it was the last chance ever.
