Atk buff / agility buff / stacking etc.
can i ask if these buff stacks? like atk buff, crit rate, defense and def down debuff? or it just prolong the duration of buffs?

i wonder how many percentage each stacks

You can stack up to 3 times, as for how long they last.... I assume 3 turns.



Also one thing that I'm unsure if its intentional or a glitch, whenever another phase of the fight happens, all your buffs are gone and you have to reapply them all over again, including permanent ones like Heroes Guts.

yup it stacks up to 3 times. You can get the info in the help section of the game too

Never seen any of them fall off. I believe they are permanent until either the enemy has a way to remove them. During my fights with one of the bosses I used the first party member you get (beside Kiryu) to give an enemy fire vulnerability. It never went away until they died.

Huh, so it must've been a bug on my end?


Or how about this, fights where you fight multiple goons, you apply buffs, beat them all, and next phase starts with more of them walking in, and suddenly, all the buffs are gone. This is what made Legend kinda scary since I wasn't high level and enemies always started their turn first.

I noticed there are some hidden multipliers behind the stacks because some of my combos damage made no sense, if each one is 10% up to maximum of 30% I tested this on Amon in chapter 8, 3 stacks with attack 300ish damage, 1 stack of double damage from action hero, also about 400ish damage, combined together = 2k damage, no idea how but thats my experience. Also my generic atk/def buffs only last 3 turns since if I was to buff up using war cry, next turn use action hero double damage, and next turn attack, 4th turn id have nothing left on me. Despite long setup the sheer amount of damage that combo produces is worth. Especially cool combo if u have two girls with kinoichis substitution jitsu to replace their turn with Kiriu. I never seen elemental vulnerabilities fall off, but that could be due to most enemies not actually getting 3 turns or being straight up immune to it like the bosses.

so elemental vulnerabilities are permanent, well 3 stack buff is worth to raise them with action hero, crit rate buff doesnt matter here isnt it? the chances is still 50/50 or its pure rng even its 3 stacked?
