Does non-elemental magic damage count as blunt damage?

So I am running geodancer Chitose and when fighting a metalworm enemy (or whatever theyre called) I noticed that when I use one of the non-elemental magic skills, upon targetting, it says that the enemy is resistant to blunt damage. Now I am considering getting a blunt damage ikaika, however I am not 100% sure if non-elemental magic damage counts as blunt damage.

Ok, I did some testing by adding a blunt damage brand to my weapon and I believe that it does count as blunt damage.
