I read that you can obtain it from a boss monster in Hawaii and from Shogi (21.000 points). I do not remember either encountering the specific boss mob or throwing away a 5 star weapon at any point, but the mob does not show up where it is expected to be. And I really don't want to learn shogi just to rake up those 21.000 points. Is the revolver avalable somewhere else? I recently found the Cabbie's Wrench somewhere in a shop, so I hope the guides have a blind spot when it comes to the revolver, too.

you can grind shogi points by doing the puzzle one, theres a video guide on youtube. Turn take back off and turn on time limit for extra points

There's a page online that shows you how to do all 10 shogi puzzles, with pictures, required for gun. Each puzzle is either one move or two moves. Super quick.

I got the gun in 20 minutes.

Where did you find the Cabbie's Wrench? I explored all shops and games with no success. The only way I got it was raising my bonds.

I guess you're right. I could have sworn that I had seen it somewhere, like at a pawn shop, but I must have been mistaken. Maybe there will be a LeMarche option sometime, which allows you to buy back all items you ever sold or definitely missed during the game.

Correction, actually: It seems as if pawn shops do have special job-weapons you already own. Doesn't help you if you haven't got the weapon yet, though...

Metal Bat can be purchased from a store for Ichiban's weapon, but I think that is it.
