Substory 50 Bugged?

So from what I've read now, triggering substory 50 requires reaching poundmates rank 2 and then giving Chitose the 3 gifts? The game let me give her the gifts before I reached the required poundmates rank, but now that I have reached said rank, I still can't activate the stubstory. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Maybe if you do the gift thing again i mean
first time you just meet one goal
second time you meet the other goal
third time?

I don't have saves that go that far back... I only realized this now when I was checking the few substories I was mixing before going into the next chapter

And talking to Chitorse doesn't give me the gift option or chat option anymore.

I thought it was bugged, but I thought I needed to trigger something, so I hopped into a cab, nothing happened, fast traveled another time and got a text from Chitose to finish to substory, hope I helped with this!

My dudes. Funny sht. I was confused with this as well. It's Chitose Buster Holmes. In Oahu Burger. Bottom right corner of the map. Not Chitose Fujinomiya :)

After i got to max pound level i gave fake Chitose her gifts and after that nothing, i can't even start the side-quest, no sms and when i talk to her i get the generic "call me if you need me" crap.

So yeah i had this as well i just kept calling her despite already having maxed out pundmates rank, eventually she messaged me and it proceeded as normal

i actually received a message from her saying "thank you for your patronage, we are giving away gifts, come and meet me at oahu burgers" after that nothing, anyway as you said i will continue to call her into the fights and i hope that she will send me another message or trigger the side-quest.

You have to call her into battle with poundmates 10 times for the rest of the substory to activate

Thanks for all the info, will try calling her ten times into battle and see if I get the quest.

well i don't know if it's exactly 10 times but yeah, i can confirm that you should continue calling her and she will eventually send you another message and when you talk to her again in oahu burgers the sub-quest will start, just watch the cut-scenes and it will end automatically.
