So about Dondoko Island.. (My thoughts on improving) ((SEGA I REQUEST..))
It was fun. I don't know if I would call it a spin on Animal Crossing but to each their own.

Here are some things I would like to see improved upon in the next game.

1. More interaction with building / props / scenery.
- The only thing they really interact with is the sitting furniture. I would like to see maybe attendants for outdoor scenery. Didn't they support kalypso (tropico) for several games?
2. More interactions with the crew. I got two crew interactions. (One for each mascot character) Is there more and I'm missing them? No real interactions besides the basics build and advertise if that is all.
3. A real transport system. If you have bike racks and buses.. Make use of them. That pretty much goes for for everything you can build, though. No real interactions.
4. Again this goes with interactions but being able to purchase exclusive things (major weapons and armor), that would only be available on this island. We have to build up for more than ten hours and the only really nice thing we get is the Dondoko Beam.. While nice, it feels like a time sink for one thing.
5. Being able to use the farming area to collect the insects, minerals, and fish. That is the biggest pain in the ass and by the time you reach 5 star you can buy all the things you can use the farm for.. so what's the point? Minerals especially are a pain in the butt and you can maybe get 6 of one rare mineral a day IF YOU ARE LUCKY.

Anyone else have any requests?

I'm going to bump this because I'm curious about what else everyone thinks can be improved.

dondoko is basicly just the money maker minigame of this game

they pretty much always have atleast 1 minigame that makes insane money

sidenote i doubt this minigame is coming back in the next game unfortunatly

a few improvements i suggest though would be

1 better combat or just remove combat entirely its more annoying then challenging
2 more interactions
3 enterable buildings
4 maybe inviting "villagers/tourists" to ur house

My biggest gripe with Dondoko island is the fact, that i cant swing my bat with my mouse and have to press spacebar infinitely. Also the aiming with the bug net is simply atrocious

You can rebind that, just change space to left mouse button.

What grinds my nerve is that the mouse emulates a freaking joystick in building mode. it is ridiculous bad.

The building mode is kinda bad.
You cant place stuff so it looks good.
Fences cant be angled 90 degres because they dont fit rogether than.
Ground plates cant interfere with one other and sidewalks.
Stuff has to large hitboxes even the structure is much smaler
And so on...

Not that I particularly liked this mini-game, but I feel like they could have added a quality of improvement for the inventory/storage management. I can't begin to describe how frustrating it was to constantly keep moving one item at a time from your main inventory to your storage once it was full. There should have been a button to empty the full inventory into storage.

yes...totally agree...its ludicrous how many times i tried to re-build/add some things only to notice the inventory is full....i guess somebody has to keep that "in mind" and plan upfront but for some reason it doesnt work out well when in the meantime you pick up random things and stuff
