I've never played these games before and i was wondering, is there romance options for kiryu (i think thats his name) and if so, are there lgbt options, like specifically romance options for boy and boy, like kiryu and another boy, or is that not really a thing in this game?

If they were meant to be gay the writers would find a way to tell you that removes the benefit of the doubt or wriggle room for counter arguments.

Words like cute (kawaai) are meant to be wholesome, oftentimes in anime women would compliment eachother on being "kawaai" and gawk at a cute model wearing cosplay.. I've even seen it happen irl too in interactions between Japanese celebrities.. Japanese and Americans have different cultural norms and cultural disconnects, not everyone there is pent up and looking for an excuse to indulge in a buffet of debauchery with their gaze. Not everyone there thinks fanservice is interchangeable with R18 website content either.

Ichiban is woke as fuq and you know it. (it's also why he's the best)
