TBS Radio. Any way to get subtitles?

You can listen to a talk show on your phone. Is there a way to read an English transcript or get subtitles for it?

At the moment nothing, I am sure it slipped the devs mind that people with limited to no Japanese wouldn't be able to understand it. I am sure the devs will hear about it soon and next patch they will add the subs.

Yep, no subs. I've got it on the radio thing now, and just wandering around town while this unsubtitled podcast goes on in the background, delibrately avoiding doing any quests while i do it. Just dumpster diving, thankfully it continues from where it was if you get interrupted by combat or anything.

I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation like, the localizers thought it was too much for western audiences to handle. LOL

I think it is just a game bonus content as there are a English Radio without subtitles too. Though you can record the audio and use translate machine to figure the content.

Oh god the radio show doesn't have subtitles? Hopefully RGG Studio can be convinced to add some, or maybe someone in the community who knows enough Japanese can transcribe them.

When do you get the option to listen to it? I did the substory, I'm already at chapter 3, I don't see it in the smartphone menu

you have to put it in your playlist.

Hold left bumper and then use your d pad to cycle through audios. You can add list of song/radio through smart phone app

This seems like a real oversight, how the heck are there no subtitles for this?

Hopefully they add subtitles to this soon. It's definitely perplexing.

It's normally the little nitty gritty that sidesteps subtitles. Battle barks, post-battle victory barks, the random chatter of NPCs, etc. If it doesn't already have Japanese subtitles, the localizers sure aren't going to put in the work to do that for the English audience. That's probably what's going on here.

So this is still an issue....how the h*ll did they add a big thing like this with no subtitles....and I mean the tutorial for the quest even says that the radioshow will change subject when you change chapter, won't help me even a little bit since I know like 10 japanese words =p
