it only works to change your outfit in premium adventure/ng+ afaik, outside of combat.

this is definitely how it works, just entered premium adventure and that's how you change clothes outside of combat using the alo-happy changing stations.

so 1. you need the tutorial outfit DLC
2. use the alo-happy station in premium adventure
