Letterbox / Black bar removal for 16:10 & Widescreen

Hello everyone!
I want to report how you can remove the letterbox drawing from your screen for these resolutions. It will change those black bars into transparent.
First, download the previous game Letterbox remover from here:
Lyall's Patcher[community.pcgamingwiki.com]
Extract into .\steamapps\common\LikeADragon8\runtime\media\data
Open the letterbox_patch_efigs.bat file into a Notepad editor and change the whole text into this:

Run the .bat and you're done!
Don't forget to re-apply it whenever there's an update.

I need to run this for steam deck, am I right in seeing it's modying the file UI.elvis.common.par? That way I can run it on my pc and transfer it over

Yeah, that's exactly what it does.

thanks much mate, just tested it, works great, finally got rid of the borders on the top & bottom of the screen

I know this is three months old, but was there more to it than patching the file on your windows pc and copying that one patched file into your steam deck files? I just tried that and nothing happened

The patcher will replace the file in the game's data with the one in the archive. You have to run the .bat to apply it or you can outright transfer the patched game data to your Steam Deck.

Obviously the game data will be different from the regular, so remember to avoid steam replacing the file, and also that every update could possibly replace it too.
